This artistic project provides students with an opportunity to visually represent their ERI in a way that speaks to their unique perspectives and stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong> This project aims to give students a creative space to explore and express their Ethnic-Racial Identity (ERI) through visual art, encouraging self-reflection and celebrating cultural diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Materials Needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Various art supplies like paper, canvas, paint, markers, and colored pencils.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to digital tools for those interested in digital art.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optional: Reference materials showcasing diverse cultural art forms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Space for displaying finished artwork to share with the school community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Activity Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Introduction to Ethnic-Racial Identity (10 minutes):<\/strong> Start by discussing ERI with students. Explain that it includes their cultural roots, traditions, and how their racial identity shapes their worldview and interactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Guided Reflection (15 minutes):<\/strong> Lead a reflective discussion where students explore their own ERI:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Encourage students to think about meaningful cultural traditions, values, or experiences that define their identity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask guiding questions such as:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What aspects of
